How to Turn One Blog Post Into a Month of Marketing With Claude
You turn one blog post into a month of marketing by writing it first, then asking Claude to turn that same post into your newsletter and your social posts. Set up a Claude Project that knows your business once, and one idea becomes a blog, an email and a week of posts in about an hour.
That's the whole system. I call it the Minimalist Marketing Method, and it's how I run my own marketing and my clients' marketing from a 400 sq ft tiny home in Golden, BC.

What is the Minimalist Marketing Method?
The Minimalist Marketing Method is one simple Claude system with three steps:
Set it up once. Make one Claude Project that knows your business.
Make the essentials from one piece of content. Blog post first, then a newsletter, then social posts.
Repeat monthly. Same steps, a fraction of the time.
No new platforms. No posting every day. One idea, three pieces of marketing.
Why start with a blog post instead of Instagram?
Start with the blog because it's the only piece you own and the only piece people can find months later. A social post lives for a day or two. A good blog post keeps showing up when someone searches Google, or asks ChatGPT a question about what you do.
It's also the easiest piece to break apart. Once the thinking is done in the blog, the newsletter and the posts are just shorter versions of it.
Why does blogging matter more now than ever?
Blogging matters more now because people don't just search Google anymore, they ask AI tools like ChatGPT. Those tools build their answers from pages they can read on the web, not from your Instagram feed. A clear blog post that answers a real question is how your business gets named in those answers.
AI search reads websites. When someone asks "who helps small businesses with marketing near me?", the answer comes from pages like yours.
Social is rented, your blog is owned. A post fades from feeds in a day or two. A blog post keeps working for years, and no algorithm change can take it away.
Answer-first writing is what AI looks for. That's why this whole method starts with the blog. You're writing for people and for the tools they now ask.
It's the easier one. No dancing, no chasing trends. Just you, being the expert you already are.
It's the slow-living choice. One piece of content that keeps bringing people to you while you're out for a walk, instead of feeding the scroll every day.
How do you write an answer-first blog post?
An answer-first blog post answers the question in the first two sentences, then explains. That's what Google and AI tools look for when they choose an answer to show or quote.
Start with a real question. Pick one your customers always ask you.
Answer it right away. First two sentences, plain words.
Write your headings as questions. Like the ones in this post.
Add a short FAQ at the bottom. Three or four quick questions and answers.
Add your own story. One real example from your business. That's the part AI can't make up for you.
How do you set up a Claude Project for your marketing?
A Claude Project is a space in Claude that remembers your business. You set it up once by pasting in a simple business brief:
Who you serve
What you sell
How you sound (a few words, plus a post or email you've written that sounds like you)
The questions customers ask you most
Now every time you open that Project, Claude already knows you. No more explaining your business from scratch.

How do you turn the blog post into a newsletter?
Paste your finished blog post into your Claude Project and ask for an email version. Here's the prompt I use:
Turn this blog post into a short newsletter for my list. Keep my voice, start with a quick personal story, give the main tip in a few short paragraphs and end with one link back to the full post.
Read it, add one personal line, and it's ready to send.
How do you turn the blog post into social posts?
Ask the same Project for a carousel and a reel from that same post:
From this blog post, write a 7-slide carousel (one idea per slide, a strong first slide) and a 30-second reel script with on-screen text. Add a caption for each.
Now one blog post has filled your week on Instagram and Facebook.

How often should you do this?
Once a month is enough for most small businesses. Twelve customer questions equals a full year of blog posts, newsletters and social content. Write the list once and you'll never stare at a blank page again.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
No, you can start on the free plan. It has a daily usage limit, so do your monthly batch in one sitting.
How long does this take each month?
About an hour once your Project is set up, instead of chipping away at it all week.
Won't it sound like AI?
Not if your Project has your real voice in it and you add one story of your own to each piece. Claude gives you the first draft, you make it yours.
Can I learn this with you?
Yes. That's exactly what Claude 101 is.
